It's a strange feeling when I found out that I had made a mistake. I didn't discover it to begin with, that there was as much difference between the yarn I had spun of the fibre-mixes I had bought in two rounds, but there is actually rather great difference.
The yarn to the right is the last bought fibre, it looks as if there is more silk in than the yarn to the left. It's a little annoying but I had begun with that "old" to the shawl I am knitting, "Pretty as a Peacock" and I had just taken a new skein from the box with my yarn to continue with.
This skein was of "the new" and I didn't notice before I had knitted a lot of the shawl and there is a visible difference. Now there is no much to do, because "the old" is in "the yoke" and as I have now become aware of it I have again gone off with "the new
